Changed proposed to upcoming merger rules: Straits Times

I notice a piece of news about Competition Commission of S'pore (CCS) in the money page of the Straits times today.

It is strange that an organisation, one of those that are supposed to be independent and make checks and balances on the system and protect public interest, is studying a law that reduces competition instead of encouraging it.

I think this news warrants some attention.
